Therapeutic Treatments
Our therapists evaluate your physical status and create a treatment plan based on your current condition and goals for therapy. Each visit will include exercises, stretching, and other modalities of treatment to help you reach your target. Services include those for a variety of orthopedic conditions as well as some neurological conditions.
Back and Spine Therapy
Lower back pain is one of the most common issues among adults today. Often, this pain prevents you from working or is related to a work incident. Our therapists are McKenzie certified spinal therapists. They use a combination of specified movement, progressive resistance, soft tissue mobilization, and more to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients.
Total Joint Replacement Therapy
Patients who have had a joint replaced, commonly a knee or hip, have a prosthetic device placed that acts as a normal, natural joint. You might think that this kind of extensive surgery will leave you with decreased function and mobility. Nope. At Dynamic Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, we will work with you on a plan to return to normal mobility and function. You have to have dedication and do some work at home as well, but our treatments and your commitment will have you up and moving without pain or any decrease in function.
Joint and Muscle Pain
We’ve all experienced some type of pain in a joint or muscle. It may be acute, due to an injury, or chronic, related to a long-term condition. With the appropriate physical therapy, we can relieve the pain you’re experiencing, increase strength, and return you to moving without pain. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Sports Injury
Many adults have turned to exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, some try to dive in headfirst without preparing or training for it. This results in pain, both due to the injury and because you’re kicking yourself for not easing into your exercise plan! No worries. We can help. We have a full facility dedicated to helping you heal your pain and work into an appropriate workout plan.
Pelvic Health and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Both men and women can experience pelvic floor dysfunction. It may manifest as pain, or as urinary or bowel dysfunction. Back pain or pelvic floor dysfunction is common after having a baby, but can typically be improved. Our pelvic health specialist is uniquely qualified to assess and treat the core and pelvis.
